			Dr. Wayne Lord currently is Professor of International Business at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business of Georgia State University and is President-elect of the Southern Center for International Studies. Dr. Lord has spent more than three decades in international trade and has had extensive business experience in Russia and the former Soviet Union.

At the university, Dr. Lord's work will concentrate on the EMBA and senior executive programs of the business school and in establishing the new EMBA program in Moscow. Before joining the faculty of Georgia State, Dr. Lord served as Vice President - Governmental Affairs for Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation and was a member of the board of directors of a Russian agribusiness company. A graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, he earned his master’s and doctorate degrees from Georgetown University with a concentration on Russian history, politics and economics.
